Abstract

Summary

In the past decade, awareness of the influence of non-medical risk factors, additional to medical risk factors, is rising. Research has shown that the assessment of both medical and non-medical risks should be combined in order to predict and prevent adverse birth and health outcomes in mothers, infants and children.
