Abstract
Paediatric primary systemic vasculitides are rare, serious diseases; IgA vasculitis (Henoch Schönlein Purpura) and Kawasaki Disease are more prevalent in children than in adults. Vasculitis of the skin can be seen more often related to an other underlying disorder (infection, auto-immune disease, autoinflammatory disease, malignancy). Early recognition will enable timely and adequate treatment, thus reducing complications.
