Abstract

This case report describes a 44-year-old woman with pustules on the lower back and extremities that tend to coalesce and form large annular patterns. In addition, she presented with extensive erythematous and squamous patches. Clinical and histological findings suggest a subcorneal pustular dermatosis (also known as Sneddon-Wilkinson disease). Blood tests revealed a monoclonal IgA gammopathy. The association and potential implications of these findings are being discussed.
