Abstract

The operation theatre setting is presented for robot-assisted minimally invasive esophagectomy (RAMIE), including patient positioning, port placement and surgical instruments. RAMIE with cervical anastomosis (McKeown) and intra-thoracic anastomosis (Ivor lewis) are described in detail.
