Abstract

Surgical ablation for atrial arrhythmias at conversion of atriopulmonary or ventriculopulmonary Fontan to a total cavopulmonary connection is feasible with recovery of both sinus rhythm and atrial transport function. Recovery of the patient's physical condition may take up to a year.
