Abstract
Cardiac emission tomography using a seven pinhole collimator is formulated in mathematical terms. Both a continuous and a discrete version of the image reconstruction problem are derived. Several classes of solution methods are discussed, which result in a preference for iterative series expansion reconstruction algorithms. 18 refs.
