Abstract
The National Poisons Control Centre (NVIC) ofthe National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) provides information on acute poisonings, and performs rapid clinical toxicological risk analyses in case of emergencies and disasters. This article provides an overview of the information requests the Centre received in 2001, with emphasis on medicines.
