Abstract

A computer model was developed to test the feasibility of modeling the neural control. The resulting model was used to simulate normal lower urinary tract (LUT)-behavior. To study the effect of the modeled feedback loops, LUT-behavior was simulated while the influence of the feedback loops was varied. Since the simulated behavior for different settings of the feedback loops is comparable to pathological behavior as seen in vivo, it was assumed that the feedback loops that are used in the model might resemble feedback loops in vivo.
