Abstract

Expertise area (EA) 2.1 of workstream 2 (WS2): functional urogenital conditions requiring highly specialised surgery within ERN eUROGEN is called complicated and complex pelvic floor disorders. It overlaps with other EAs within WS2. The disorders composing WS2 are acquired disorders with several angles or points of view that can be used to assess them. Four disorders will be described in this chapter as good examples of current complex pelvic floor disorders which need specialised care and which are, therefore, mainly dealt with in dedicated centres. These disorders are -Complications of mesh and tapes. -Postprostatectomy urinary incontinence. -Complicated continence. -Vesico vaginal fistulae.
