N2 - Tissue characterization represents a prerogative of cardiac magnetic resonance. Beside late gadolinium enhancement, native T1 mapping (nT1m) reveals tissue composition. It could represent a useful tool for example when contrast medium can't be administrated. The present review summarises current evidence about nT1m in main heart diseases.
