Abstract
The authors regret that in the abstract of the article an incorrect mean difference in Bowel Function Index between oxycodone/naloxone and oxycodone with laxatives is described in the results. In the abstract a mean difference of −13.68 (95 % CI −18.38 to −8.98; I 2 = 58 %) is described, where it should be −13.79 (95 % CI −18.50- to −9.08; I 2 = 34 %). In the rest of the article the mean difference is mentioned correctly, as can be seen in figure 2 and in the results section on page 4 (last paragraph). Since it is a very small difference (0.11 points on a scale of 0 to 100), it does not change the interpretation of the results. Also the interpretation of the heterogeneity, represented by the I 2 statistic, is not different, since values of 30–60 % suggest moderate heterogeneity. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
