Abstract

Correction to: Nature Methodshttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41592-025-02847-4, published online 25 September 2025. In the version of the article initially published, in the “Chromatin modification” key in Fig. 2d, both green and purple were listed as “H3K36me3”. This has now been corrected so that green is “H3K36me3” and purple is “H3K9me3”. This correction has been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
