Abstract

A 65 -year-old male presented at our outpatient clinic with progressive shortness of breath. CT scan showed a type 3 paraesophageal hernia. A laparoscopic correction of the hernia was performed. The 3th postoperative day he became respiratory insufficient. A CT scan showed re-herniation of a dilated stomach into the thorax.
