Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: Primarily, we aim to assess the efficacy of antifibrinolytic agents to prevent bleeding complications in people with hemophilia or VWD undergoing oral surgery. Secondary objectives are to assess if antifibrinolytic agents can replace or reduce the need for clotting factor concentrate therapy or desmopressin in people with hemophilia or VWD and further establish the effects of these agents on bleeding in oral surgery for each of these patient populations.
