Abstract
Traumatic abdominal wall hernia is a rare event. We describe a 7-year-old boy in whom this rare injury was combined with a traumatic dissection of the external iliac artery. The hernia was corrected by primary repair, the dissection by resection of the injured part and end-to-end anastomosis.
