Dr. Marion Sommers-Spijkerman was awarded the UMC Utrecht Brain Center Outreach Prize 2021 for her contribution to the dissemination of knowledge about ALS. The award was given for her work on the ALS Parents & Kids Support project in which several information materials were developed to reach out to families with a parent with ALS.
