Biography
Martin Fast conducted his PhD studies at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg (2010-2013). After postdoc appointments at The Institute of Cancer Research - Royal Marsden hospital in London (2013-2016) and the Netherlands Cancer Institute - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital (2017-2019), Dr Fast was appointed as associate professor in the radiotherapy department of the UMC Utrecht in 2019. Dr Fast’s main research interest is the development of MRI-guided real-time adaptive radiotherapy. He is currently the (co-)author of 80+ peer-reviewed publications with more than 2500 citations.
