    Biography

    Dr. Marieke Hollestelle is an Assistant Professor in the field of Medical Ethics at the subdepartment of Bioethics and Health Humanities at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care of the UMC Utrecht. Her research focuses on the ethics of learning healthcare systems, innovative research designs in oncology, and fertility care.  

    Marieke is a member of several advisory or reviewing committees and teaches a variety of courses related to medical humanities, data ethics, moral case deliberation, and research ethics. She is also the coordinator for the Medical Humanities course within the premasters program Klinische Gezondheidswetenschappen (clinical health sciences).
