Research interests

My research is centered on a new promising treatment for colorectal cancer patients called the RASTRIC phase I/II clinical trial. In addition to coordinating this trial, I have established organoid cultures from metastatic lesions of our patients. These organoids are used to assess the tumor-specific sensitivity of these organoids to our new combination treatment.

Techniques and expertise:
- Coordination of the RASTRIC clinical trial
- Organoid culture and drug screens
- Data-analysis in R and Python
- Several techniques for image analysis of drug screen images and immunohistochemistry slides.
