    Biography

    Linda Nab is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Biostatistics and a member of the Real World Evidence team led by Prof. M. Sturkenboom.

    Her research focuses on causal inference using electronic health records. She has contributed to multiple studies using target trial emulation to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of vaccines and medicines, leveraging large-scale healthcare databases. These studies were conducted in close collaboration with international research consortia and multidisciplinary teams in pharmacoepidemiology.

    In addition to her methodological and applied expertise, she has a strong interest in developing open tools for generating reproducible real-world evidence.

    She obtained her PhD from Leiden University Medical Center, where her research focused on methods to correct for measurement error in epidemiologic research.
