I am currently on an exciting journey as a PhD candidate in Regenerative Medicine within the Nephrology and Hypertension department at Utrecht UMC. My passion lies in exploring the incredible world of kidney research, seeking innovative solutions to address critical challenges in healthcare.

🎓 Academic Path:
My academic journey has been a dynamic one. I hold an MSc in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease from Radboud University, where I delved deep into the intricacies of biology and disease mechanisms. During my studies, I had the privilege of completing internships both within academia at the Human Genetics department and in the corporate world at Bayer AG. These experiences allowed me to bridge the gap between academic research and industry, providing valuable insights into the multifaceted nature of scientific discovery.
With a solid foundation stemming from a BSc in Biology, with a focus on bio-organic chemistry as my minor, I've always maintained a thirst for knowledge. Science is not just my profession; it's my passion. I'm committed to staying at the forefront of emerging trends and innovations in my field, always eager to explore new avenues to contribute to the advancement of science and its impact on society.
