Radionuclide pharmacy (text in Dutch):
De radionuclide apotheek richt zich op de ontwikkeling en klinische translatie van radioactief gelabelde moleculen voor diagnostiek en therapie, ook wel theranostics genoemd. De ontwikkeling van theranostics gaan in hoog tempo. Ondanks de grote potentie die theranostics hebben is hier voor kinderkanker nauwelijks nog aandacht voor. In een samenwerking tussen het UMC Utrecht en het Prinses Maxima Centrum richt het theranostics programma zich op deze klinische behoefte voor betere nucleaire diagnostiek en de ontwikkeling van innovatieve nucleaire behandelmogelijkheden voor kinderkanker.
