Children with a brain tumor have an increased risk of being seriously overweight. These weight problems may be related to a malfunctioning hormone balance, according to a large-scale long-term study by researchers at the Princess Máxima Center. The hormone system of children who gain weight quickly after diagnosis should be better monitored.
