On behalf of the organizing committee, I am delighted to invite you to be a speaker at the 14th EFIS-EJI Tatra Immunology Conference, which will be held on September 19 - 23, 2020in the High Tatra mountains of Slovakia. The conference is organized as an official event of EFIS with additional support from the Austrian, Czech and Slovak Immunological Societies.
Previously, this bi-annual international conference has been held since 1994, within the beautiful Tatra Mountains. This conference provides scientific sessions of the highest standards whereby we have been fortunate to always have excellent international speakers.
The 3-day scientific program will consist of five half-day sessions, presenting 3 or 4 invited speakers (each talk 45 minutes, including discussion) with one session devoted to short oral presentations selected from submitted posters.
The expected attendance will be approximately 80 participants (mainly young immunologists and PhD students from various European countries) in addition to 17 invited speakers. The participants will be selected on the basis of scientific merit from the pool of applications. To promote social interactions among the attendees, midday leisure activities (13:00 - 16:00) will be available, including hiking, local excursions, and various sport activities.
The organizers will cover 4 nights of accommodation and full subsistence during the conference (including all midday and evening activities). We will reimburse your travel expenses, including an economy class apex air ticket.
